You can use the game on this website without an account or a payment. Use the site lawfully, and do not interfere with its operation or other visitors' access.

The game and the website

The four-letter Word Ladder game and its interface were built for this website. The game's rules and word checks run in your browser. Accepted words are drawn from the ENABLE2K word list; its source and license information is recorded in the project's third-party notices.

Daily selects a puzzle by its date in New York time (America/New_York). Practice and shared links use puzzles from the same selected collection, and puzzles may repeat. A shared daily link remains tied to its selected date. An open game does not automatically reset at midnight.

Scores and saved progress are calculated and stored in your browser. Shared results are for friendly comparison, without server verification or a public ranking. You control whether and where to share a score or puzzle link.

The underlying ShipAny template is licensed software. Making this website available does not grant permission to redistribute the template source. Third-party materials remain subject to their applicable licenses.

Availability

Loading the game depends on access to this website and a browser with JavaScript enabled. The word list determines which steps are accepted; a word you know may not appear in that list. We cannot promise uninterrupted availability, a particular outcome, or the retention of your progress. Browser storage can be cleared or unavailable, and saved games do not sync between devices.

These terms do not exclude rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded. No paid service or subscription is offered in this version.
