This version does not offer accounts, payments, a contact form, advertising, or site analytics. We do not ask you to provide personal information to play, and the application does not set tracking cookies.

This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process request information, including IP addresses, requested URLs, browser details, and timestamps, to deliver and protect the website. Its handling of end-user information is described in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy. We have not configured separate visitor analytics or application request-log storage. Cloudflare's own retention practices are governed by its policies; we do not promise a specific retention period for its infrastructure logs.

Your game on this device

The game logic and word list run in your browser. Loading the website requests its page and game files from the server serving this site. The application does not automatically upload your entered words, ladder, hint count, or results.

To let you return to your games, the application uses this site's browser localStorage to save selected puzzles, their accepted word steps, hint counts, and completed games. Daily puzzles, Practice, and shared challenges have separate saves. If a save from the earlier single-mode version is present, it is used as your Practice save. Older puzzle records may be removed to limit storage. These records stay in this browser on this device. They are not linked to an account or synced to another device.

Browser settings, private browsing, storage limits, or clearing site data can prevent saving or remove your saved progress. A saved game is not a backup service.

Sharing a score or challenge

Sharing is optional and starts only when you use a share or copy control. Generated result text contains a date or puzzle ID, move count, shortest move count, hint count, and puzzle link. It does not contain the puzzle's words or your solution steps. A challenge link identifies the puzzle, not a player or their saved game.

Copying places this text on your device's clipboard; your device, browser, and clipboard settings determine how it is available to other apps or devices. If your browser supports native sharing and you choose to use it, your device lets you select a destination. The site does not choose a recipient or send a message automatically. Any app or service you share to handles that text under its own privacy practices.

Opening a puzzle link requests a URL containing the selected date or puzzle ID. This can appear in browser history and ordinary server or hosting logs. The link does not include your score, entered words, or saved progress.

Your choices and contact

You can remove saved games by clearing this site's data in your browser. If you follow an external link, the destination has its own privacy practices.

Contact details are being confirmed. A public contact address is not yet available. There is no contact form.

If you choose to send an email once contact is available, the recipient and email providers will process the message and return address. Please do not send unnecessary sensitive information. Any future analytics or advertising will require a corresponding update to this notice before use.
